Hi,
I'm looking for some urgent assistance. I need to add around 60 products to our ecommerce site. The site is built on the Joomla CMS and the ecommerce cart is set up using virtuemart.
I went to set the new products up myself through the CMS but it appears that there is some code that must control appearance and flow that is referenced from outside of the CMS. I added about 10 products to the virtuemart database as a test, but when I set them live I realised it was not going to be as simple a task as I had originally anticipated. I also couldn't upload the relevant images for the products.
I am looking for a web developer who has experience with Joomla and virtuemart, and how they may interact with non CMS held code elements. I need to add approximately 60 products with product shots. Ideally there will be an import feature, which would save unnecessary manual input. Also in adding the new products I noticed that the site had not been updated to the new 20% VAT rate, but in changing that now all of the existing products are priced incorrectly. So I would need someone who can help me resolve this issue at the same time.
The current products are all within the Urban Wellness collection. The new products I am looking to add are split between 3 new collections. You will be able to gauge the task I think when you see the site.
When offering bids, please do describe your wider experience, not just those relevant to this task. We are a small graphic design agency and would be interested in using the successful freelancer for future projects.
This is a very urgent job. I would really like the work completed before first thing Monday morning. So please only bid if you are confident you can meet this deadline.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information.
Best Regards.
Greg
