I have intergrated the payment gateway into my site at but seem to have a problem with the "amount" conding.

The documentation is below. It is for payment gateway.

The problem I am facing is that when I paste the html code in my site and change the default information to my info I have a problem with the html code (<input type="hidden" name="amount" value="ENTER_PAYMENT_AMOUNT_(EXAMPLE:39.60)">). The amount does not change to reflect the correct amount when you purchase something on my site. Eg. If I leave the coding as is in the amount below (as 39.60), when someone purchases an item and goes to checkout, it takes you to the moneybookers site for payment but the payment amount reflected still shows ZAR39.60 and not the value of the item purchased.

You may do a test on my site at

Our standard product

Easy-to-use gateway interface enabling businesses and individuals to sell goods and services over the Internet safely and securely.
The customer makes the payment on Moneybookers' secure web servers. He is automatically redirected back to the merchant's web site once the payment is complete.
Allows real-time communication between the merchant%u2018s system and Moneybookers%u2018 transaction servers.
Basic integration
For basic integration simply use this HTML and customise the BLUE fields to your own needs:

<form action="" method="post" target="_blank">
<input type="hidden" name="pay_to_email" value="ENTER_YOUR_USER_EMAIL@MERCHANT.COM">
<input type="hidden" name="status_url" value="EMAIL_TO_RECEIVE_PAYMENT_NOTIFICATION@MERCHANT.COM">
<input type="hidden" name="language" value="EN">
<input type="hidden" name="amount" value="ENTER_PAYMENT_AMOUNT_(EXAMPLE:39.60)">
<input type="hidden" name="currency" value="ENTER_3_DIGIT_CURRRENCY_CODE_(EXAMPLE:EUR)">
<input type="hidden" name="detail1_description" value="SPECIFY_WHAT_FOLLOWS_(EXAMPLE:Book:)">
<input type="hidden" name="detail1_text" value="PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION_(EXAMPLE:Romeo and Juliet (W. Shakespeare))">
<input type="submit" value="Pay!">

N.B.: With this basic integration you are required to manually check whether the payment was processed successfully by viewing your account history. Although you will receive email notification upon each payment to the email address which you have provided as "status_url", you will HAVE TO check your history, as it is not secure to rely on emails.

Full Integration
For full integration, please consult our integration manual. The Merchant Gateway can be fully integrated with your website in a few easy steps taking minutes to integrate with only a basic knowledge of HTML required. The Merchant Gateway is an industry standard SECURE (128 bit SSL) web page and does not require the use of CGI or ASP scripting on your web site.
