Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
ABOUT US:
We\'re a small website that provides information about the Washington, D.C. area.

DESCRIPTION:
We have a Flex 3 website with OpenX 2.8.3 installed. We use mySQL.

In order to get Flex 3 to work with OpenX, we adapted Mr. R Blank\'s approach as outlined here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/advertising_flex/advertising_flex.pdf . (We want to continue to use his approach. We don\'t want to use iFrames). We had to reformat the XML returned by OpenX in order to get it to function. Currently, OpenX displays our dummy ad.

We activated OpenX Market, and unfortunately we get an XML error and no ads served. We tried to correct the error by reformatting the XML, but without luck.

As OpenX serves an OpenX Market ad only when someone has bid on OpenX Market for our space, the error is intermittent. Usually, our OpenX dummy ad gets served.

GOAL:
We need someone to fix our website, so that OpenX Market successfully serves ads. We probably have errors in our OpenAds class. (Please see the attached files). Although, it is possible that some other problem is causing the failure.

TIMEFRAME:
We\'d like to get the job started within a week.

REQUIREMENT:
Only developers with OpenX and Flex 3 experience should apply!

Thank you.
