The story is fanfiction, so I do not hold a copyright, but the story is transformative by nature and neither the story nor possible audiobook will be used for profit (at least beyond the creation of the audiobook) so I think this would be covered by fair use. Also, this story deals with high school students and includes some sexual hijinx, though nothing explicit and nothing between teens and adults. If it were a movie, it would probably be a strong PG13. Finally, I'm not an especially good writer, so you might not want to use this for one of your demos.
Now about the story: This is a fanfic based on the Supergirl TV show, told from a girl's perspective. In this show, the main character was adopted as a teenaged girl ten years ago into a family that already had a daughter around the same age (who happened to be a lesbian that only came out of the closet later in life). This story posits that both girls are homosexuals struggling with their sexuality and with being called "sisters." They struggle with cliques and mean girls in school. They break rules to the delight of some and discontent of others. There are several scifi elements, and there will be some absurd moments, but mostly this is a drama about high school students with familiar problems.
Attached is the first chapter, so you can get sense of my writing and what the story is like.
I'm not in a hurry for this project. Anytime in the next two months. I'm not looking for perfection, and if the narrator wants to modify the writing a bit to make it more amenable to read aloud, that's OK. We could also do a trial project, if the narrator prefers (say, $150 for the first chapter, and if that works out, $1350 for the rest).

Do you want a specific accent?Ernest G.22 Sep 2017
A North American accent is preferred, because that is the story's setting, though I haven't ruled out other accents. Whoever can effectively portray the voices of girls in high school might work
Hi there, are you looking for a US voice on this, or would a British young female voice work for you? ThanksErnest G.22 Sep 2017
My first choice would be a U.S. or Canadian accent, reflecting the western U.S. setting, although other accents aren't ruled out.
