We are currently working on finalizing training modules geared towards child welfare professionals following a pilot of this this training. This is preparation for a national launch of the training scheduled for September 2019.
The training for Child Welfare Professionals consists of 8 modules with each module containing 6 lessons. We are splitting the voice over work between 2 voiceover professionals, with a female voiceover professional doing voiceover for 4 of the modules. We are looking for a male voiceover professional to work on the remaining 4 modules. These four modules come to about 8 hours of produced audio.
We have some flexibility with hourly rate. The quoted rate is based on labor hours, if you prefer a produced audio rate then please include that information in future communications.
We plan to begin incorporating new voiceover work beginning in December 2018 and will need to deliver a finalized product to the funder for their review in March 2019. There may be additional work available on a second training following this delivery date.
The Institute is developing this training in partnership with the Center for Adoption Support (CASE) and Education and it is funded by the Children’s Bureau. The process for voice-over professional selection is as follows:
1. Voice-over professional submits sample recording of attached script (see more info below)
2. Leadership for the Institute, CASE, and Children’s Bureau review selections
3. Final selection for voice-over professional is made
If you are interested in being considered for this opportunity, we are asking that you submit a recording of the attached short sample script. This is the type of content that you can expect for these lesson.
We are asking for sample recordings to be submitted no later than Wednesday November 21, 2018.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions or require further clarification.
