Description

Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
Sikana is a small NGO based in Paris, France. We film free tutorials on a whole host of topics ranging from Health Nature which are then posted online via our YouTube and made freely-accessible to all.

Here's how we operate:
All of our videos, which are originally made in French, are translated into around a dozen languages by an online community of volunteers via our Sikana Factory website. Volunteer voice-over actors then lend their voices to each tutorial video so we end up with the same tutorial video translated into multiple languages thus promoting the sharing of savoir-faire and inspirational content.

Here's how you come in:
We need freelance video editors to simply splice the audio voice-over files and layer them onto the video in the right place, add in a few titles and then send that back to use where our team of uploads will put the finishing touches in place.

NB: It is highly preferable that you are using Adobe Premier CS 6 for your editing work
Candidates must be fluent native English speakers. A basic knowledge of French would also be a plus.

We offer 7EUR per completed video used. There is a backlog of some 250 videos to be edited at current, with more videos expected to arrive in the coming months. We would aim for a minimum target of 30 videos edited per week.
International payments will be made via Paypal or bank transfer.

Please get in touch for further details -- be sure to include your CV and a brief summary of your experiences in video editing.
Here's our Nature YouTube channel to give you a better idea of what we do: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSgmi8i9pn0kYB8lH5j8yOA
