We are scheduling a music video until 2018
Introduction:
We will do the filming in 250 square-meter green-screen studio with hollow throat. first roadmap is an illustrated storyboard. So we have 6-7 Blocks. Each block has 3 Panels So we should talk about cam-settings ( For the green-screen I recommend 50 fps, perfect uniform illumination, no shadows, a well done shutter, as best we can try to avoid reflections, So we should talk about the place of tracking-markers and camera angels. We normally using yellow tracking markers, but when can do as you decide Let me know and ask me what you like to know please. ) We need a photo-realistic result with depth.
You as 3 D animator can do 3D Compositon ( Backgrounds, Mapping, Tracking, rotoscoping, shading, lighting, rendering )
for the whole song. - Song length 6:07 . You decide if you will need to do some settings in CG backgrounds . It depends on it if the 3d objects work well and material naturally. On the edge, I have no problem with it that you bring in 2D in Close ups . So 3 D makes no sense because mostly the background is a blurred to get more depth
the general requirements for the look.: We need a photo-realistic result with depth. So it should look real. And you are able to avoid that it does not look artificial and not clean too. So the used look should be very important. Steamy punkie and dirt will be good. also volumetric effects, steam whatever to get it real and usable. In regarding your skills-Conditions in backgrounds and compositing should guarantee well done Angles, proportions of and to the living performers to objects, so buildings/ landscapes should be right. Lighting and shadows must be realistic. May you do background by high quality mappings, based on hi-res photos for the material without atypical distortions or artefacts. You work with pro stuff like Maya, Cinema 4D, 3 d Max or comparable. You should have some years of experience. Your home is game design or movie design and 3 d Animation and Compositing.
Pre-Pro / Camera- Real Shoots Studio:
Shoots in front of Green Screen with different
Camera settings. Total, Closeups, low camera-position, Top to down ( Earth position )
We will book crane, dolly, spider cam, drone, and some production stuff to get it perfect.
Camera: Canon C300 MK II, Panasonic Go Pro Black, Resolutions: 4 k and Full-HD. 50 fps we will try to tap everything was a bit more problematic in the alpha mask After shoot we will do the rough edit with all green. So we can crop into 4 k and the result should be good. For a better / faster rendering so we can send the Full-HD format.
If you take it we will need some of these 3D and Environment Objects: Wild-West/ Ghost-Town/ Saloon out and in. US, NYC Buildings. a Skyscraper , 50 us car, Brooklyn bridge. A Full moon, and some small stuff like lanterns, burning barrels, facades, sign, may a lost place - building from the inside. The best would be to buy a package at GC-Trader or others. Before we do the shoot in the studio we will need your instructions ( based on storyboard scribbles ) that we can go similar and very close to get the right camera-positions in the greenscreen-shoot. After the shoot I will do a raw rough-cut . As mentioned you should look for high-quality 3 D objects, Wild-West-Stuff, Buildings for eg. Skyscrapers / Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge and old US car 3 D model. ( may CG Traders ) May you use textures.com The project will need high resolution ( 4-6k ) photos for the mapping, so we can also look for, because it´s a thing of rights.
