Hi Laura,

I was just reading your profile, likewise I'm married to my job but if I don't get some downtime and holidays with the kids this year I might mad!

Let me explain a bit about what I'm looking for...

I run a web development and hosting company, we run an online helpdesk for all support requests and this is manned by an outsourced support team.

For the most part the support team are good and handle support requests, when they're not upto scratch they need chasing. They also don't handle billing enquiries or make decisions about the business, they would just flag these tickets to me.

What am I looking for?

I've worked with a VA before, she's actually left to take a job with one of her existing VA clients, so we've written a manual and checklists to go with what she used to do (they need updating but it's a start!).

I'm looking for holiday cover, at least initially is to do 3 check-ins (morning, noon-ish and evening) on my helpdesk and email per day when I'm on holiday.

- Chase the support team if they're not doing their job
- Take care of billing issues (per the manual)
- Contact me if there's things that need my attention (either immediately via SMS or wait for an end of day summary text/email).

I'd like to hope if I met the right VA and at that right price I'd let them loose with more things, social media, blog posting etc. But initially this is all about getting me some downtime!

It's hopefully apparent that this is quite ad-hoc, days out, holidays etc. The bigger companies (looking directly at timeetc) want monthly minimums at a very high price per hour, this is something I'm hoping to get away from!

Is this something you think you could help with?
