THE BUSINESS -

The Healthy Life Company is a Health and Lifestyle retailer based in a small market town in rural Wiltshire UK. THL sells a wide selection of Natural Remedies, Paraben-free Beauty Products, Whole foods, Herbs and Spices, Fairtrade, Organic and Locally Sourced Products and & Eco-Friendly Goods.
We are fully committed in supporting a low impact on our environment.

● CUSTOMERS MUST BE ABLE TO SEARCH FOR SPECIFIC PRODUCTS VIA SEARCH BAR. CATEGORY, BRAND NAME, PRODUCT TYPE AND DIETRY REQUIREMENTS AND OTHERS I.E ORGANIC / FAIRTRADE ETC
● CUSTOMERS MUST BE ABLE TO ORDER MULTIPLE ITEMS AND MULTIPLE NUMBERS OF ITEMS.
● EACH MONTH SPECIALS WILL BE AVAILABLE WITH MONEY OFF, THESE NEED TO BE FED AUTOMATICALLY VIA THE SOAP FEED.
● CUSTOMERS MUST BE ABLE TO ADD AND REMOVE ITEMS IN A BASKET.
● CUSTOMERS MUST BE ABLE TO SELECT AN INDIVIDUAL PRODUCT AND SEE FURTHER INFORMATION.
● PAYMENT MUST BE COMPLETED VIA A SECURE PAYMENT PROCESS.
● IF SENSITIVE DATA NEEDS TO BE STORED, IT MUST BE SECURE.
● BUSINESS OWNERS MUST BE ABLE TO EDIT THE SITE’S CONTENT WITH EASE VIA A CMS.
● PRODUCTS ORDERED MUST BE ADDED TO THE HEALTHY LIFE COMPANY’S CURRENT ORDER LIST.
● THE ORDER LIST MUST BE UPDATED/SENT TO THE SUPPLIER AUTOMATICALLY.
● ITEMS AND THEIR INFORMATION ON THE WEBSTORE MUST BE SOURCED FROM THE SUPPLIER’S DATABASE.
● WEBSITE MUST FOLLOW THE LATEST RELEVANT LAWS, INCLUDING COOKIE LAW AND DATA PROTECTION ACT.

The suggested steps for the project are:

1) Help client choose the correct platform Shopify/ Magento
2) Design the site to be simple to use, with the latest styling and trends. THL is fully committed to the environment and will work hard to provide the public with products that have less packaging, use recycled materials contain minimal chemicals and where possible are Organic
3) A manual has been created to help with the api / soap links from the wholesaler.
4) To provide some marketing material in the form of ads.
5) To cover all background work from start to completion and a further few months’ work on snagging.

As a small business funds are extremely limited, and you must make sure this is reflected in your quote and ongoing charges. As a small company we do feel this would be a wonderful project for the rights person and a stepping stone.

We are looking for completion of this project by May to June with launch around mid-end of June. We would prefer to work with somebody that shares our ethos.
