Description
I am looking to develop a new front end for a web application dealing with returns. Our current front end is workable however, there are bugs and the team that developed it are no longer available for on going support to develop it as required.
The design work and flows have been created and can be viewed at the links below. I appreciate that the sheer number of slides may alarm you however, the designs also act as a guide for the back end developer that I am working with. I imagine that the bulk of the front end work will be on the main layout and building / customising the data table layouts.
The successful candidate will need to have a high level of experience in front end development and an excellent grasp of Javascript (and be able to recommend frameworks for the development, if they feel it is necessary. I am leaning towards Vue.js 2, so prior experience in this framework is a plus). I am happy working with individuals or teams of people, and the size of the project may make this more suitable to teams.
I live in the U.K. and the back end developer (another PPH developer whom I have worked with for nearly 2 years) lives in India. As there are times where the back end dev needs front end advice / help, any front end dev must be able to communicate directly with both of us. A good level of written and verbal English is important.
Whilst some aspects of the design will be harder to make responsive, the project must still be able to respond from mobile to retina.
Load time and consistent functionality are very important and as such I would like to keep the code as clean and lightweight as possible. I am not expecting the app to be compatible with older versions on I.E. as a requirement to use will be new(ish) browsers. HTML5 and CSS3 are expected by default, alongside the Javascript. Happy to discuss CSS frameworks, or even use of CSS Grid. The back end is being written in PHP and MySQL.
I always look to continue working with developers in the long term where their work is of a high level.
I am happy to accept proposals for fixed price and hourly work. Once you have had a look through the designs, please indicate how much/many hours you estimate the work would take. For those shortlisted, I would then like to Skype and chat through the detail to let you better gauge the work load and also get to know you better. After this I will award the work.

Hello Alex,
Thanks for inviting. Can I have a look at your existing application? How would the back end and front developer work together or would the front end developer design and mock data and later back end developer integrate the design?
Alex B.03 Aug 2017Hi,
Thanks for the question. The first stage of the back end and current design will be going live in the next 2 days, and this would be shared with the successful proposer. As for the working together part, the front end would work with mock data and back end would integrate. The front end dev would need to be available for continued long term work so any changes / clarifications the back end dev has can be amended / answered. Thanks!Tapesh M.03 Aug 2017OK, do you have the artwork ready? What is your approximate budget that you are willing to get it done?
