Want a database of my flooring stock added to my website

Hello

My name is Arron, and I own and manage a website - An internet based flooring retailer.

I would like to replace my carpets page, so users can now browse my stock.

I also like the greeting page with the images that change into others.

Once you click on the product to view in the website, It takes you to a new page, well i am not keen on that.

If you go to my website and select a product, a page pops up inside the page you are on. I like that system better, and comes up with all the information i feel is needed.

Can it have a feature so i can compare selected samples too?

On my site there is a book online page, can i have it so when a customer selects say 4 different product, they can book online and have the ones selected so i know what samples to bring on the day of the booking.

I want my carpets in my 'carpets' page
Vinyl products now in my 'Underlay' page
And my wood and laminate products in my 'Stain Removal' Page
All to run on the same template if you will.

I would say I understand websites and how they are built and the editing side of mine (Its a cms site on modx if that helps) So the new page's must be easy for me to upload my new stock, put them in sub catogries, change info, change prices and be able to upload pictures.

So walk through talk through this to me how you would do this.

I want the artwork doing too to co-inside with the rest of the site, so all i have to do is upload picture of my stock, and the information.
