Description
Experience Level: Expert
Hello,
I was working with a developer to improve the site speed of my clients' website who moved the website onto a VPS with GoDaddy a couple of months ago. We then ran into an odd issue - since transferring the website onto the VPS forms sent from the website no longer get to my clients' email address with the same domain (e.g. www.example.com won't send email to info@example.com). The website does, however, send to my email address.
The website only has 3 forms but all 3 have the same issue.
I've done the following:
- Tried changing to different form plugins
- Tried sending solely to info@example.com (instead of the normal setup which send to both info@example.com and amy@mywebsite.com)
- GoDaddy checked and updated the routing script as well as adding some txt to the DNS
- Checked things like spam etc and have already 'whitelisted' email from the site in Gmails settings about a year ago before the hosting change
The GoDaddy hosting specialist told me it could be a conflict caused by copying over some code that contains instructions for the old hosting. I'm totally lost with it - would love some help if you can offer any.
Another thing to note if it's helpful - I have had WP Cerber on the website for over a year and have noticed since moving the site there are a huge amount of security alerts/lockouts - around 9/day. I noticed it popped up when I sent a form previously so I think there's something weird going on there.
Thanks for any help you can offer,
Amy
