Technical Authoring Application

I run a small Technical Authoring company providing outsourced services for SMBs.
I use the DITA (http://dita-ot.sourceforge.net/doc/ot-userguide131/ditaotug131-18042007-pdf.pdf) standad for creating technical documents in XML.

To make this technology more accessible to my customers I am looking for resources to:
- simlify the implementation of the components required for this techology (e.g. editor, content management)
- develop a browser accessed interface for clients
- develop reporting tools for project activity

I would like to have this applciation available as soon as possible.

As this is a new area of business, a phased/iterative approach to development will be necessary.
