Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: We sell men's ties and accessories
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of requirements/features: I'm using the Devlin template in Squarespace. I would like a sidebar to be visible on every product page (there are three different product pages: one for ties, one for wallets, one for accessories). The limitation I am struggling with is that although the Devlin template accommodates a sidebar, it is the exact same sidebar used on every page. In this instance I am wanting to use the sidebar to display some introductory text about each product page (i.e. a small description of how our ties are made on the tie product page, a small description of how the wallets are made on the wallet product page). But as it stands if I enable the sidebar then it will display the exact same sidebar on every single product page. It would appear that having a different sidebar for each product page is possible, with some CSS, which is where I'm a little out of my depth and am hoping for your help. This link appears to provide a solution, I just don't understand it: http://answers.squarespace.com/questions/952/can-i-change-the-blocks-in-a-sidebar-on-a-page-by-page-basis
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
