Make the 'send' of my Contact Page be instantaneous

Description of requirements/features: I've created a basic website that is nearly finished and will be going live later this week.

However I don't like the way the Contact form is currently handled.

At the moment, you click the 'send' button and the coding takes you to a new page where you have to wait 6 seconds before it takes you back to the website.

I'd prefer it to behave how other site's handle their Contact Forms, i.e. where you click Send and with no delay there is a "message sent" message on the same page (ie. without going to another page) saying "Thanks, your message has been sent".

Basically, I want the Contact Form not to have the user going to another web page and waiting.... (seems old fashioned !).

If it is worth having some sort of 'human verification' line in there as well, i.e., a random test, like, "What is 6 + 3 ?", that'd be a bonus, but not essential.
