Description
Experience Level: Entry
I need to make the following changes to insightprep.net/preptest. You can use the following credentials to log in: User Name: "GMAT" Password: "Test".
1. Remove the word "for" and the student name on the menu bar (because I will no longer store student names in the Students table.
2. Replace the structure of the Explanations section. I have added a new table called Search Terms 2 which needs to be joined with the Cues table using the following Access version of SQL:
SELECT [Search Terms 2].TYPE, [Search Terms 2].[SECTION NAME] AS [SEARCH TERM]
FROM [Search Terms 2] INNER JOIN Cues AS Cues_1 ON ([Search Terms 2].[Short Type] = Cues_1.Type) AND ([Search Terms 2].[SECTION #] = Cues_1.[Flashcard Section ID])
GROUP BY [Search Terms 2].TYPE, [Search Terms 2].[SECTION NAME], [Search Terms 2].[SECTION #]
ORDER BY [Search Terms 2].TYPE, [Search Terms 2].[SECTION #];
The TYPE field is the main menu and the SEARCH TERM field is the sub menu as in the cascading menu structure that is presently on the site. The structure is different for each Course, which is a field in the Students table. If there is a "1" in the Course 1 field, for example, then that type and search term should appear for that student.
