Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: Not needed
Description of requirements/features: Not needed
Extra notes: I need some help with a JUSTHOST hosting account which is due to expire on 13th July. I basically need some advice on whether to renew the account and delete some files, or to just transfer them across to a new account.
I have a couple of domain names registered with JustHost. I have add-ons. I have a site solely hosted on there with databases and a couple which I need to change totally as they were large sites, which are now nearly redundant, including a Moodle set-up and I now only want the main holding pages whilst I sort out what I’m going to do with them. I think I also have mail accounts but not sure!
I need someone to look at my control panel and tell me exactly what I have and then go through with me to work out the best way forward. Obviously I realize I need to pay for your time, but then once this is done I want the same person to carry out the work i.e. deleting/transferring files etc.
I’m not a total computer dunce, but I know very little about hosting and domains, so need someone who is patient and can explain everything in simple terms and then carry out the work. I’m guessing that someone experienced would be able to look at the files and know straightaway what is what. I don’t envisage it being a big job as there aren’t any huge sites on there, I just don’t understand what’s what!
If you also happen to be a web designer, I will later want a website designed for a new business. So assuming we work ok together I’d be happy to continue working with the right person.
