Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Transfer sixteen domains from 123.reg to Gandi.com
Description of every page/module: Untangle failed transfer from 123-reg to Gandi.com resolve all domains correctly in one account.
Description of requirements/features: When attempting to renew the domains, 123-reg reports "Please note that as the domains currently reside in your 123-reg account, you will need to contact the receiving Registrar to remove the transfer requests for the domains." However, Gandi reports that " ". 123-reg account is held by another organisation and no access is available to that account (however, the holder will comply with requests we make). Gandi account is under our control. No access can be granted to the Gandi account as it is held in trust for a client - instructions received will be timeously enacted and reported back. Ideal outcome: Transfer domains into Gandi, then renew them. Alternative - cancel xfer attempts and renew now in current registrar, then xfer to Gandi.
First class of error message (applies to 4 domains):
From: transfer-auth@gandi.net
To: name1@TestCastle.co.uk
Subject: [GANDI] Error during the transfer of TestCastle.COM
Date: Tue, 04 Aug 2015 07:47:21 -0000
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
We have not been able to complete your transfer because the registry (the authority that manages domain name extensions) has informed us that:
Transfer Prohibited from Whois Extract: Status: clientTransferProhibited
** How do I fix this? **
We have a list of these errors and their solutions at the following page: http://wiki.gandi.net/en/domains/transfer/error
Once you have made the necessary correction (when possible) you can simply relaunch the transfer from your "Orders in Progress" page. Feel free to contact our Customer Care Department should you have any questions or require any additional assistance: http://www.gandi.net/faq/contact_support
