General information for the website: Women apparel and accessories
Kind of development: New website from scratch
Description of requirements/features: Our Company is in the business of selling women apparel and accessories. The Company owns and operates stores across GCC and now wishes to develop an online store (e-commerce business). The target audience is women in the age group of 18 - 40 from Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan and Arab nationalities with an average household income of US$3,000 per month.

The website shall have:

1 - products page;
2 - check out process with integration to the API of online credit card processing vendor;
3 - blog;
4 - ship to multiple addresses;
5 - multiple currency;
6 - coupon redemption option / redemption code;
7 - inventory management;
8 - development of CMS; and
9 - responsive website.

Please note that these are broad guidelines and the detailed options / features will be discussed and finalized during the project scoping phase.

We are looking to achieve the project closure by the end of January 2017.

We are considering the following key milestones of the project.

1 - Project scoping (work requirements, timeline) and recommendation of technology to be used. We do NOT want to use Wordpress or Magento;
2 - Design and approval;
3 - Content upload (SEO optimization help would be required from your side; we will provide the content);
4 - Development
5 - testing
6 - Launch

These milestones will also work as the payment milestones.

    Would you prefer custom PHP for the website designing & development?

    Also, as the website design and development would progress, I would divide the website design and development work/phase in few 8-10 milestones for the work progress and payments. Please let me know if it is fine?

    We do not want to use WP and Magento. We are open about the rest. We do want the coding from the scratch. We can not disclose the budget at this point. It will be shared with the shortlisted freelancer.

    We do not have a good experience with the WordPress. It requires high maintenance.
