Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: Flight booking
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: Hello,
I have a website made to book custom flight / private jet services. The website is made under codeigniter. The admin is made using a bootstrap admin template called SmartAdmin v1.4 (bootstrap), and the front end is using another theme called Calypso.
Here is the link :
Frontend : http://gl-aeroservices.com/demo/
Admin : http://gl-aeroservices.com/demo/index.php/admin/user
Login : toto@toto.com Pwd : toto
I need someone to make the following tasks :
- Integrate a calendar module in the 'Planning' section, populated with data retrieved from database - for this we'll use a version of FullCalendar with the SmartAdmin skin (boostrap admin theme).
- Configure jQuery Select2 with dynamic data retrieved from my database (the function retrieving the data in json already exists)
Description of requirements/features: ADMIN / PLANNING : CALENDAR
How the website currently works :
A user submit an order request for a private jet service using our form. We check if the plane is available at this time and date, and we respond by making a proposition (we confirm dates and time, and suggest a price to the user).
The resquest (order) and the proposition are stored in 2 different tables in tha database, containing all the informations (dates, destination, time of departure etc).
What I need to be done :
- I need to create a page containing FullCalendar (I provide it) - the calendar will show the plane's schedule based from the data in the database. Visually, the calendar items will have 4 colours for the following 4 statuses :
0 order request -> yellow
1 proposition made -> orange
2 proposition maid and paid -> green
3 free leg : grey : the plane cannot be rent because it's coming back :: We have to be able to manually insert the time and date (like when we create an event in google calendar)
- On each item appearing on the calendar, show : client name + email, departure_location, destination, passengers;
ADMIN AND FRONT END
Jquery Select2 Implementation (https://select2.github.io/examples.html : loading remote data example)
- In our application, we have a database table called 'airports', listing 8500+ aiports. To optimize the form I wish to implement jQuery select2 with dynamic data retrieved from this table. The function already exists and outputs Json data. All I need is to put this data in my airport fields where they're needed : on the home page and in my admin (departure_location and destination fields).
Specific technologies required: codeigniter, jquery, select2, fullCalendar
Extra notes:
