I need a developer to build a simple AI interview practice web app MVP.

The app will be used for mock interviews, training, and self improvement. It should help users prepare answers, review their responses, and improve communication skills.

Main features:

Create a practice session with role details, job description, resume notes, and preparation notes

Use browser speech recognition or text input during a practice session

Detect interview style questions from the practice conversation

Show suggested answer points based on the preparation notes

Give feedback on the user’s answer, including clarity, structure, missing points, and better wording

Simple clean dashboard

Basic session history

Source code and setup guide

Preferred stack:

React or Next.js

Node.js

OpenAI API or similar AI API

Simple database such as Firebase, Supabase, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL

    A few questions that would help clarify the MVP:

    • Will users practice against a live AI interviewer that asks follow-up questions, or will they primarily submit answers and receive feedback afterward?

    • Do you want the AI to support specific interview frameworks such as STAR, behavioral interviews, technical interviews, leadership interviews, or all of them?

    • Should feedback be generated after every answer in real time, or only after the entire mock interview session is completed?

    • Will users upload full resumes and job descriptions, or simply paste text into the platform?

    • Do you want scoring categories (communication, confidence, structure, relevance, completeness, etc.) included in the MVP?

    • Should session history store full transcripts, AI feedback, and scores for future review?

    • Is user authentication required for the MVP, or can sessions initially be anonymous?

    • Do you envision voice-only interviews, text-only interviews, or both from launch?

    • Will the AI generate interview questions dynamically from the job description and resume, or will there be predefined question banks as well?

    • What is the primary goal of the first release: interview practice, interview coaching, job-specific preparation, or measurable candidate improvement tracking?
