A app developed - brand new buying and selling app

The project is an exciting, one-of-a-kind idea that allows people to sell their items online utilising videos instead of lengthy product descriptions.

The solution should be built using a mobile development framework (PhoneGap or similar) with a responsive prototype that can be accessed using a web browser, before being wrapped up into an app available on the Apple, Android and Windows Phone app stores:

To satisfy the requirements, there will be three user groups: Buyers, Sellers and Admin.

- 'Sellers' will use the app to record videos of the goods that they wish to sell to be able to market them to 'buyers'. Sellers will:

- Be able to sign up for an account

- Edit contact details

- List new products

· Define the category for the product

· Name the product

· Choose the 'grade' of the product (new, like new, used, broken…)

· Add a price (or price range) for the product

· Use their device to record short videos (time to be decided) to promote their product. If recording through the system, there will be a way for users to see how many seconds they have left to promote their product whilst recording the video. It is imperative that videos can be recorded from within the app / webapp / browser.

· Add tags to the product

· Delete the listing

· Mark a product as under offer

· Mark a product as sold

· Share products to social media

- Receive contact from interested buyers

· The seller will receive an email from the system when a buyer gets in contact

- 'Buyers' will search the app to find products that they like. They will be able to browse through the categories, or search by name or tag.

- Buyers will be able to contact sellers through the solution to request to buy products

- Buyers will be able to sign up for an account to see a historical view of who they have contacted

- They will be able to share products by email or social media.

- They will be able to mark items to watch later

- Admin will have full control over the system

- Admin users will be able to log in, moderate and remove products, ban users and view all communication between buyer and seller.
