Move Small Form into Magento

General information for the website: Multi Store, Custom RWD Theme, 1.92
Description of requirements/features: I have a login form already written and working that I need to get into the place where account/cart are usually located, at the top right of RWD. it seems to keep on moving it out of the block and I have a feeling I need to do something with the XML.
Code is already written for form it just needs moving around..... and I'm not sure where to put it.
Specific technologies required: Magento
