Magento search to list category name if searched for

Site use root categories. Front end navigation uses root 1, and we have a widget on the frontend that lets customers select products from root 2 using a 3 level drop down menu eg category - sub category level 1 - sub category level 2

I want customers to be able to type into the main search box a product name "example 1".

Within the root category 2 there is a sub category 2 called "example 1"

When the customer types example 1 into the search box I want it to return a link for sub category 2 example 1 linking to the category page
