Description of requirements/features: You are required to build a web-based system for displaying and querying the tram data. This
should enable users to choose a start and destination and get appropriate route and timing
information. The system should have knowledge of the current time so that in addition to showing
trams at a specified time it can give “the next tram to ...”.You should assume that it is possible to go
from any station to any other station in two tram rides. Any change at City Square should allow two
minutes for a change of trams. Your system should make use of the graphic representations of the
routes and use the movie clips (not functionally).
Extra notes: Design and implement a database to store the timetable data in. There would be
more data for other services, lines and directions but you can assume the set of stations and routes
are stable. You need to choose an appropriate type of DBMS (relational, object/relational/xml,
nosql) and a system to implement it in.
Implement a web-based system linked to the database to allow the querying and display of the data.
