WordPress - Stop competitor from cloning website

Description of requirements/features: We currently have an unusual situation. We have a customer of ours, a reseller really that seemed to think that we gave it our blessing the clone our website. The reality is that we said they could take inspiration and snippets of text, but they have completely cloned it.

The odd thing is that in their source code all images etc are still point to our web space, hence I have temporarily taken our site down which has in turn taken their site down.

The concern is more that we have recently developed a new website (after lots of efforts) which is not yet live. If they were to clone our new website, it would be a huge shame.

So what we're looking for is advise on what we can do presently to stop them simply using our web space to clone our website. Also advise on what we can do in future to make stealing our website difficult.

Needless to say we have requested the company to not clone our website, however it's falling on deaf ears.
