Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
General information for the website: Online marketplace
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: Current site is utilizing Listify Theme with woocommerce, woo multi vendor, and woo bookings plugins. Need to make the theme search into multi vendor products rather than using Listify theme's WP job listing plugin.
Description of requirements/features: I purchased a theme called "Listify" in which I have integrated WooCommerce, Woo Multi Vendors, and Woo Bookings. The site basically is used as a marketplace in which I will take commissions from the vendors. The woo commerce stuff has been all integrated and I need assistance to customizing the home page search with the products that the vendor adds in. Below is the list of stuff I'd like to accomplish:
1. Vendor registration - Vendor will be required to input their area of service by city. E.g. They service New York City, New Jersey, Brooklyn, etc. (No limit). Based on the city they entered, it can then use the City's ZIP codes for part #2 below. I have the registration form, but haven't implemented this feature yet.
2. Home Page Search - Customer will be required to search by location + selecting product category and show all products/services in that ZIP code. (The search uses Geotag from the theme and based on this address ZIP code, will find all the products/services available in that ZIP code - Which means, the search will have to look into the Vendor's service location ZIP codes and pull those products/services). Results will be displayed by Product/Services with the product image, ratings stars, vendor name and short description. They will then be able to just click on this image and go into the product details page as usual. (The product details page is already configured properly, so no work is required there). Don't need to follow the theme where they display a google map with marker of the listing. We're not going to use the listing feature because everything will be related to the Vendor, Product Category and Vendors.
3. Home Page Section after top search will show the Categories. If you look at the Listify theme demo, the section "Explore Your Community" shows listing Categories. Instead, I'd like to show the woo commerce product categories with images. When categories are clicked, it should show the list of Popular Cities. You can take a look at a sample workflow on www.delivery.com where the home page will have section to select a cuisine and then will link to the Popular Cities. I will need this feature.
4. Admin section for item #3, will need to have dashboard to have the ability to set the Popular Cities with a page that will list out all the Cities currently from our Vendors. There should be a checkbox to enable/disable to show as popular cities to determine if it will show in the front page.
5. Home Page Section - Browse by city - (Refer to Delivery.com). Once they click the city, will display all the products, locations of that city.
6. Admin section for #5. Need ability to set a city for displaying on the front end and uploading an image for the city to display in the front.
Extra services needed: Customization
Specific technologies required: PHP, Workpress
Similar urls: www.delivery.com
Extra notes: Our company is currently expanding and requires more outsourcing to accommodate with the expansion. Looking forward to quality coders and working long term.
