Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
General information for the website: An existing HTML website for an Antique Shop needs to be converted into a Wordpress theme
Description of every page/module: Wright & Co are an antiques/furniture shop based in Brighton, UK. I designed their website (www.wrightandcobrighton.co.uk) and currently update it on a weekly basis (it's set-up as a basic HTML/CSS site) however they would like to now manage it themselves through a CMS such as Wordpress. Essentially, it's a brochure site showcasing products available in the shop - there is NO e-commerce functionality at all. I must stress that I am not looking for someone to redesign the site or convert it into an e-commerce site.
I am looking for a Wordpress Developer to migrate the current site over to Wordpress and implement a responsive design so that it works on mobile and tablet. I can provide PSD designs for how I would like the site to work when mobile optimised.
Description of requirements/features: Following the migration to Wordpress, the client would like to be able to:
1. Upload individual products and edit their:
- Product Name
- Price
- Collection of (up to) 6 images
- Product Reference Number
- Product Description
2. Assign each individual product to a category page, i.e. Furniture / Lighting etc
3. Assign each new product to the "New Arrivals" page as well as their respective category page
4. When a product is sold, to be able to delete the individual product page but add a thumbnail of the product to the "Sold" page
---
Other General Requirements:
5. To keep all the existing features i.e slider and forms.
6. To install an analytics plugin so the client can track the success of the site
7. To install a plugin such as Yoast for SEO purposes
8. Category button images: Each time the client adds a new product, I want the main product image to automatically appear within its respective category button on the Home page and Collection page.
9. Home page slider: I want the images that feature here to link through to their respective category pages (where applicable). I also want the slider set so that the client can change these images as required.
10. Individual Item page - Lightbox: Add a Lightbox to each individual product so users can view the images at a larger size. I would have to confirm the style of these would look.
11. I would like you to give me a training session of some kind so I know how to work the site through Wordpress.
12. I'm also looking for someone who can provide support after launch.
Extra services needed: Installation, Customization, Optimization
Extra notes: If you have any questions, suggestions or I have missed something please get in touch.
