Kind of development: Customization of existing website

It's come along way in the past year, but I am always looking to improve it. We are willing to entertain small fixes with big impacts and listen to larger ideas, but at the moment, I don't feel the need to spend absurd amounts of money reinventing the site. That being said, I am always interested in learning suggestions for improvement. We have JetPack installed on the site and have experimented with SumMe as well.
Description of requirements/features: Can we make it easier to navigate? Can we make it more mobile-responsive? What can we do to get more subscribers to our blog and letters? We recently created "The Broyhill Library" section of the site which includes Amazon affiliate links. What can we do to drive additional earnings here?
I'm open to any and all suggestions. Fire away!
