Thanks for posting your project on PeoplePerHour. I believe strongly on using a child theme for development of a website as it inherits all the CSS and plugins from the parent theme thus and still leaving the parent theme untouched. It also helps in securing the website from any vulnerabilities that may occur.

A few questions in order for me to push in a proposal:

a. The current website all contents and images would need to be imported to the Child Theme? or would you like to make your website currently developed in a child theme environment.
b. Do you currently have the original theme (x-Factory) available?
c. What are the additional features/ functionality you would like to incorporate on the website?
and Lastly,
d. what is the budget and timeline you can provide for the development and transitioning?

It is an hourly model job as we have to upgrade the existing theme, plugins and then install the child theme.

Are you okay with hourly base model on the project ?

Do you want custom installation of child theme ? or you have child theme that come along with main theme ?

Hey Wayne, Do you need to only install child theme or want also setup with content side? Because we have to backup first existing website. Then we can achieve child theme to borrow parent theme's functions.
