Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: A test area for our client - Beds
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to read this job.
Basically we have done a lot of work for a client who sells products online. We have created multipul variations for each product. When we migrated this from test to live for some reason all the product data has come through 3 times! E.g tags, attributes, posts ect.
Whilst the live site is still functional as in taking payments and working we can not edit ay product categories, tags or attributes as when we do we get an error saying:
"Cheatin’ uh? Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this item."
This is because the are 3 of each term, 3 of each tag, 3 of each category ect and I think the system is just confused and broken!
So in a long story short. We are looking for someone to fix this cheating error without loosing all of our product data (over 600 variations on the products). We need someone to figure out why the system wont let us edit tags and these variations. i imagine the fix you do will fix every issue at once.
I have moved this 'live site' to a test area so you can do the work on there and then we can release it to live.
Description of requirements/features: Just fixing the back end of wordpress to stop breaking.
Specific technologies required: wordpress, php, development
Extra notes: As you can see from the screen shots attached. Each product tag is done 3 times when there should just be one? We cant click or edit them or we get the error cheating huh?
