I need a Divi theme expert

General information for the website: It's a fresh wp installation
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of every page/module: child theme setup for Divi theme
Description of requirements/features: I'm having trouble setting up the child theme of the Divi theme.
I use the new method with php file as it was referred here "http://www.eleganttweaks.com/learn/creating-a-child-theme/".

Probable I'm doing something wrong, since no matter what I write in the style.css file, I don't see any change on the website.
Specific technologies required: php, css
Extra notes: You should know that I will provide you with teamviewer access, so you can work without using any username/passwords. I want to be able to speak to you during the implementation as well.

Obviously my request is just a few minutes of work, but keep in mind that I will need your services again in the near future for more modifications.
