Description
Experience Level: Entry
First, I can't provide access to the website for security reasons, however it should not matter.
Brief:
We have some forms built with contact form 7.
The forms are actually just a button that when clicked, registers the logged in user to an event.
Submissions are saved to the database with this plugin
https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-cf7-db/
We have 2 user roles who can fill in the forms, subscribers and editors.
Users have be logged in to view the forms.
Requirments:
IF either of these 2 user roles are logged in to the site AND have already submitted the form(s) certain elements should be HIDDEN
For example the actual block containing the form and some other buttons, menu items.
How I think you can do this:
Create a script, that drops a cookie when these users log in, then check the database somehow to see if the user has already registered to the form. If they have registered a css file is added to the header. This will just be a class that hides the elements. We can then just add this class to the elements we want to hide so when the script is activated the elements won't display.
So I just need a script built that can do this. You will then need to show me how I can add forms to it, etc, basically edit it to work on the live website, as I cannot provide a link or access to the website
I estimate an hour or so work?? I need this done by Wednesday A. M
