Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
I need someone to support with the development of some VBA within an Excel Spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is designed for users to enter data and then calculate the 'social value' or 'social return on investment' of a project.
I am seeking to enhance the usability and functionality by building in some fairly basic macros and VBA. I have built a short one already (c. 140 lines) using Excel's "VBA for applications" which checks the sensitivity of variables. But it needs reviewing, testing, streamlining and improving by someone who knows what they're doing. I've attached the code for this macro in a Word Doc.
I'm after:
1. Macros that a) add and b) remove rows to a [partly locked] spreadsheet tab, while making necessary changes to other spreadsheet tabs (some of which are wholly or partly locked to the user). For example, e.g. adding or removing a row in the appropriate place so they mirror the original tab, and adding in the necessary formulas
2. Macros that can extract information from the spreadsheet and input it into a word document according to a Word document template
3. Coding that allows us to restrict functionality for some users. For example, the sensitivity analysis may only allow 5 variables (for example) to be tested unless the functionality is unlocked through use of a code.
Please let me know if more information is needed.
I expect this to be quite a small job for a good coder (2-3 hours?) - but there may be opportunities to provide further coding if the spreadsheet is successful.
Budget given is per hour
