Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
We are looking for an experienced UI/UX designer to review and redesign one of our key pages; our auction listing page - here's an example of that page http://bit.ly/2v555xb
We are experienced digital people and we know there are issues with this page. We want to make it the best-in-class with the most user friendly design - a wow page. We want it to be super easy for our buyers to review vehicles and interact on this page and ultimately enjoy the best experience possible.
The guiding high-level principles / considerations are:
1. Consider design across three breakpoints (mobile / tablet / desktop).
2. Handle the large amount of information we provide and wrap it in the best and most intuitive UI.
3. Provide clear and consistent CTAs around our bidding process.
4. Consider our structured data and how best to represent that in the UI.
5. Consider our four videos and how best to present them across all devices.
6. Consider surfacing our 'beauty' shots through the page and handling the large amount of 'technical' images we take.
7. Consider how we flow trust messages / reassurance throughout the page.
8. Consider comments and how we can use that in the bidding process.
9. Our customers tend to be of an older generation / high net worth individuals and we get good feedback about our product (when they read and interact with the data) - but as digital people we know we are lacking the best-in-class / best user experience; those moments of joy.
We would expect the following:
1. You are a dedicated UI/UX specialist with experience and examples of your work that you can provide.
2. Enthusiasm and immediate ideas on how to improve.
3. Structured thinking around our principles / considerations.
4. Collaborative working with us (hangout or meet up in person) on the evolution of your thinking / recommendations.
5. Clickable prototype e.g. created in something like InVision, Axure etc.
If you take a look at the example page above and immediately see ways to improve it, you might be the person for us :-)
If you're based in Warwickshire, Wiltshire or West London then that would be an advantage, so we could meet up. As a minimum we will want to have a phone conversation with you first before hiring.
Thank you.
