I have a client who's just done a server move. Their LAN IP address of the Mac Mini OS X server (version 10.6.8) needed to change and now the personal folders no longer work. The server's address (the Account server) has been updated in the the Open Directory Utility on all the iMAc Workstations to the new address and they see it fine, however...
The issue is that when one of the workstations attempts to login, the username is picked up from the server and displayed correctly on the login dialogue, but kicks out and throws the error. See the screenshot.
We need the following:
1. For the logins and Portable Home Folders to work again (they were working perfectly before the move)
2. The process to fix the issue to be shown to our in house engineer so he can do the same fix to all our other workstations.
