Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
please have knowledge of nats.io as well as golang
need to write a script that is executable from the command line, script will be in golang.
we are connecting a messaging platform polygon.io -
https://github.com/Polygon-io/client-examples/blob/master/golang/main.go
to store the messages into influxdb -
https://github.com/influxdata/influxdb/tree/master/client
should be able to run the script in the following ways:
*start connection to polygon.io by adding a symbol; a example command might be "poly --add T.AAPL"
this will start a new db in influx or append to an already named DB "T.APPL" then do nothing other than take the JSON message from NATS and push it to influxdb.
should be able to add multiple IE [T.AAPL,T.MSFT,T.C]
*remove command to stop connection from nat server IE "poly --remove T.AAPL"
*view all current streams IE "poly --view"
