Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the business: We are a video and timelapse production collective
Kind of development: Customization of existing program
Description of requirements/functionality: We currently use small windows PCs to run DSLR cameras in remote locations. We can control them using readily available desktop applications. However, we now want to move over to the Raspberry Pi units to cut down on space and power consumption on site.
There are a number of Linux based solutions out there, namely Gphoto (http://www.gphoto.org/) which you can use to build the programme. We'd need to be able to control all aspects of the camera's settings over USB, then download that to the Pi and also upload to our FTP servers.
We'd then need you to compile the software and put it on a Raspberry Pi, so that it booted up automatically when it recieved power and start running the capture sessions.
OS requirements: Linux
