Description
Experience Level: Expert
I wish to develop a simple tool which can manage my Amazon FBA stock, and produce the current value of it based on the how many units I have of each item, and what they sell for on Amazon FBA
- I should be able to scan an item into the system when I purchase it using the products barcode
- The purchase price and purchase date are logged, as well as the number of units
- Future purchases of the same item will result in an amended average purchase price
- When the item is sent from our local warehouse to Amazon this is reflected on the system as the item being stored with Amazon
- The system is able to locate the same item on amazon (using the barcode) and find the lowest 'prime' selling price
- The system is able to use this predicted selling price to calculate the amazon fees (using the fee calculator https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/hz/fba/profitabilitycalculator/index?lang=en_GB) This way at any time I can see the value that I paid for items, what they currently sell for on Amazon, and what I will receive after they have sold - they system will give me my current Stock Value.
I would forsee all of this being set up in a table, whereby I can scroll between the items, see where they are stored (home warehouse or amazon), see what i paid for them, when i purchased them, what they sell for on amazon, what amazon fees are likely to be, and therefore what the current profit (or loss) per item is
As nice as fancy websites are, when proposing for this work I consider the key attributes to be able to link the various parts of amazon functionality together - therefore if the output looks like an excel table then it does not matter.
I have several other projects similar to this if I can discover a great developer in this area
Please see detailed example document now attached.
