I need someone who is willing to create a hotspot application using something like OpenWRT and WifiDog combined, so I can flash my router/AP firmware as an upgrade .cfg file.
I currently have a netgear WG102 AP and would like to be able to better configure the port forwarding control for mobile devices.
The firmware allows for http forwarding but seems to be lacking. It is only forwarding port 80, I believe.
I would like to have this AP setup so that anyone that accesses my wifi will first be sent to my website as a splash page or series of splash pages before accessing the web from their browser.
Currently, the system seems to work with Mozilla on a laptop but does not work in IE7 or Netscape.
Also, my blackberry connects to the wifi but does not display my website/pages which is where the AP is supposed to be directing traffic.
If someone knows how I can achieve this without having to have it connected to another apache server, please advise and I will pay someone to help me configure this or configure the files for me so all I have to do is upload the .cfg file as a firmware upgrade and then be able to login to the router/AP and make ohter changes from there.
I am willing to use different hardware like the Linksys WGRT54G or WGRT54GL if necessary. I prefer to use the Netgear WG102 or WG103 if at all possible to achieve what I need.
Also, I want to be able to connect this unit to anyone's wifi or Internet service and be able to connect to it remotely to make service changes.
Thank you,
