Hello
I have a project and I need some input from a professional ref the way we can implement this.
I am prepared to pay you for one hour of your time, for you ONLY to see what we suggest and if this is possible one way or another. This will be the first step. According to your suggestions we can price the project and go to our client.
If my client accepts this then we (you and me) can discuss implementation and I can assign this to you, for code and designs.
The whole project relates to a "device" that is able to handle input from 4 flow sensors. This device will be, or can be made into 3 versions:
Version 1
Simple device, with 4 liquid flow sensors, an LCD, a couple of buttons to rotate between the data displayed for each sensor and finally a way to reset the flow counters to 0, with a way that is tamper proof. Local storage is required.
Version 2
A device, with 4 liquid flow sensors, and local storage. GPRS shield/hat in order to send these data to a webserver externally and store them on the cloud.
Version 3
A device, with 4 liquid flow sensors, and local storage. GPRS shield/hat in order to send these data to a webserver externally and store them on the cloud. Additionally a couple more sensors can be added, like humidity, temperature, etc, as well as a few (maybe 4) relays to manage some electropumps.
My understanding is that we can make this with arduino. I am interested to know if we can make this with raspberry pi as well?
Do you have any alternative suggestions ?
Can you undertake the designs ?
If you have to put a cost into the hardware required, what would that be ?
How much will it cost for you to design these three together, or individually ?
Let me know so we could chat on skype for one hour and make some sense out of this if you are interested.
