Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Need to get an examination software developed which will generate exam from a question bank based on the criteria defined. The question bank will be an excel sheet with predefined columns. The scope of work is defined as under:
• The name of the spreadsheet will reflect the subject of the course that needs to be set up, for example, “English.xlsx” will mean that the name of the course that is to be set up will be called “English”
• Topics: As per our discussion, all topics will be defined within the same worksheet.
o At the time of exam creation, the user can define a weighting on which topics will be preferred (i.e. how many questions are generated per topic)
• Difficulty: One of three difficulty levels per question will be defined
o At the time of exam creation the user can define a weighting on which difficulty level is to be preferred.
• Term: Questions can be defined from two terms (T1 or T2), when an exam is created, a term can be defined and questions from that term will only be generated.
o Additionally, mix/weightage of each term can be defined for a final exam and questions will be selected according to the defined weightage.
• Image: Some questions might need images for illustration, the Image header will be a true/false input field which will help the e-database determine whether an Image for the question exists or not. The images will be uploaded into the system on a bulk basis, each image name will represent the question it belongs to, for example, “ENGLISH_GRAMMAR_1.jpg” would indicate that the image is defined for the subject “English” for topic “Grammar” and question number is “1”.
User Interface:
• Number of session ID’s on the interface (i.e. the number of exams) will be generated which will be defined by the Super User (i.e. IFCMG)
• After exam completion, results of the exam to be displayed on the screen and additionally correct answers to be displayed
• Consolidation of Results: Consolidated results per session ID to be provided to IFCMG for review purposes.
Bidders are required to share their portfolios, experience and expected timeline of the project.
