Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am looking for a utility (possibly Stored Procdure) to analyse data within a SQL Server 2005 database to \"recogise\" the \"base load\" of a set of values.
The data comprises Source, Date, Time Slot and Reading. The reading will always vary and during the day will increase somewhat. Usually the reading will then drop overnight and remain relatively stable until the start of the following day. The average of these \"relatively\" stable readings respresents the \"base load\" and it is this value that I am looking for. This will be different for each Source (this could be a paremeter to the stored procedure).
The \"start\" and \"stop\" time of this relatively stable period will vary (and indeed may not even be overnight) and the date range over which this analysis will be performed will also vary (date range provided as parameters to the stored procedure) so the analysis will need to be performed on a statistical basis.
A sample data set can be supplied as Excel or CSV for development purposes.
Project deliverables to include all Intellectual Property Rights, including Copyright, as well as source code.
