Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: We provide quotes online
Database management system (DBMS): Microsoft SQL Server
Description of requirements/functionality: We have a database which is currently sitting at 10Gb which is running on SQL 2008 Express. Each month we get data updates provided by the industry provider which uploads via a utility which is supplied by the data owner. As of this month, the data wont update since there is no room left in the DB due to limitations of SQL Express. Ive been told by the data provider that I can delete old data from the database to free up space for the new data but Im unclear how I can achieve this. I have a document which outlines the schema of the database and need a expert to read and remove the unwanted data from the database so we can update with the latest data set.
