Easy Storage Network Ltd operates three storage locations in Basingstoke, Winchester and Pershore in the UK with more to be added in the next 2 months – Newbury, Reading.

An application is required to provide a single point of access for managing all storage units, customers, invoicing. While there are many existing applications for managing storage units, this system will be completely bespoke to Easy Storage Network Ltd.

The client currently uses a spread sheet to list all the customers and uses tabs to differentiate between storage sites. However this is now too basic and errors and mis management are occurring. It can also be accessed concurrently by multiple uses which results in errors.

They would like some guidance on the next stage of developing the spread sheet further, to incorporate some of the ideas in the attached document or below.

Most of the ideas come from a piece of software called Store Tracer http://www.grensoft.co.uk/StoreTracer/index.htm
