Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the business: We offer retail and hospitality businesses a low cost 'licence-free' background music service
Kind of development: Customization of existing program
Description of requirements/functionality: Only candidates in the GMT +/- 3 timezone will be considered. English fluency is essential.
Programming Languages Required: ActionScript 3, Adobe Flex, PHP, SQL (MySQL)
Operating systems: Windows, Mac, Android
Project Type: Ongoing project
Software Frameworks, tools etc.:
Adobe AIR, Apache (Adobe) Flex, Flash remoting, Flex Data Management Services, Robotlegs, Git, Adobe Flash Builder (for data management services)
OS requirements: Windows, Mac OS, Other
Extra notes: We require a RobotLegs-speaking ActionScript developer to support the next phase of development of our growing, disruptive in-store radio platform.
Our lead developer who is also a co-founder will be taking a non-executive role from September 1 2017. He will be handing over to you as as soon as possible, to support the platform, and to implement new developments. He will remain involved but very much in the background as an adviser and sounding board as and when required.
It is our intention to integrate our platform with third party applications such that the business focuses only on technology that adds and creates genuine shareholder value. Supporting this integration and collaborating with those third-parties will form a major part of the envisioned role.
As well as the integration work you'll be supporting the platform as it stands and you’ll be involved in designing, prototyping and implementing new play-listing and royalty reporting applications. We are looking for someone to take the helm in a long-term relationship that will no doubt evolve in parallel to the business strategy.
About Audencis
Based in London, England, Audencis was founded 4 years ago as a disruptive start-up and is now a proven concept into its growth phase
.
Audencis is a background music provider that specialise in the aggregation, curation and delivery of music content to business customers. The music comes from independent artists exclusively and as such is ‘licence-free’ meaning exempt from performance licensing obligations. We offer a credible alternative to major label content that delivers significant savings on music licensing costs. Our technology enables us and our resellers to manage and deliver music and message content to customer sites, typically retail and hospitality business sites.
The team is very small and lean but is extended via partnerships with third party resellers of the service, worldwide. The resellers in effect ‘white-label’ our solution e.g. Freedom Music. The service is used by a number of major high street names across the UK.
