We are looking for a driven, creative and a non-stop Unity Developer who has a ton of passion for creating experiences, including games. In addition to writing excellent code, you are also expected to help us in making decisions, designing and implementing features and be involved in other aspects of product development.
MISSION
Neurofenix is an innovative digital therapeutics startup dedicated to democratize and gamify neurological rehabilitation. We are developing a hand training device connected to a mobile application to help stroke survivors recover through games in the comfort of their homes - the first of its kind. We are a vibrant small team based in central London and we work closely with physiotherapists, physicians, game developers and stroke survivors. Neurofenix was born at Europe’s top start-up accelerator and has been recognised as the UK leading engineering and social impact startup by the Royal Academy of Engineering, Nominet Trust and Innovate UK.
THE ROLE
- Self-motivated and takes the initiative to change what you believe is not right
- Team player who appreciates both giving and receiving feedback
- Taking the responsibility of the full development process of features
- Working well alone and in a team
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 2+ years working experience with Unity and C#
- You speak OOP and Design Patterns fluently. You write well-structured code
- Experience working in a client-server environment. Knowledge of how API and network-based operations work
- Has a working knowledge of mobile game development (iOS and Android)
- Experience with GitHub
- Excellent communication skills and attitude
- Performance-aware and what works in Unity and what’s not
YOU ARE AWESOME IF YOU
- Having built/worked and launched one or more mobile games on iOS and Android
- Know what Dependency Injection (DI) and Inversion of Control (IoC) is
- Worked with a RESTFUL API or GraphQL
- Have An eye for good design practices and beautiful art
- Have experience with UI/UX
- Have ever heard of Fitts’s law? You know what it is and design accordingly
