#THE POSITION#
As our marketing assistant, you would help with the day to day marketing activities for client sites.
I'll provide much of the documentation, training, and support that you need to do your job correctly. Some of it you'll have the opportunity to document yourself. :)
For somebody with good digital marketing and SEO knowledge, the job will be fairly easy. Yet you'll also find interesting challenges in the work because our company, our processes, our methods and our understanding is always evolving.
You will become part of the company and your input will help shape marketing campaigns. There is room to grow into a larger role down the road.
Fluent English is a must. The position requires a lot of communication via email so fluent English is required.

We are a small digital marketing company (I'm the founder, Nick). We provide content marketing and link building services to a variety of different types of businesses.
We're a small, passionate team distributed around the globe (100% remote), which includes contractors, part-time team members, and full-time team members.
We have a bold vision to transform content marketing for small businesses and online entrepreneurs. We want our customers to focus on the important tasks in their business while we take care of all the content marketing and link building.

#DUTIES#
Duties/tasks include:
- Sending & managing outreach campaigns
- Responding to emails and updating campaign sheets
- Outlining guest posts for our writers
- Creating contributor accounts
- Assisting with researching and creating outreach campaigns
- Posting to WordPress
- Outlining affiliate post
- Keyword research
- Outlining affiliate posts
- Finding images for posts
- Interlinking posts
- Creating reports
...etc.
#EXPECTATIONS#
*Great Communication Skills*
A lot of the work revolves around responding to and managing emails during the campaigns. We have a lot of canned responses but often they will need to be tailor to the specific message. There will be a lot of custom messages/requests that you will need to be able to respond to as well.
As a team, we use Slack and communicate throughout the day. It will be important to be responsive to the team during the work-day.

Our clients are the ones who pay our bills and make our lifestyles possible. They entrust us with their businesses and it's critical that everybody on the team does whatever it takes to make them happy and satisfied, even if it means temporary inconvenience or additional work. We need our customers so we treat them like gold!

We are a results-oriented business. I expect everybody on the team to take ownership of their tasks and duties, and to get results without complaining or making excuses. I'm always here to help everybody on our team and provide the support you need to do your job well, but I don't micromanage so you will be expected to deliver the results, and to do a careful job.

Yes, outside the US is just fine. Many of my clients are split between the US and Europe. Hours are negotiable but probably around 30/week.
