I'm looking for a French SEO person to undertake the following duties per month in supporting our new French website. ***UPDATE – 8 hours per week for first 5 weeks then as below***
1. 8 hours per month of backlink building from French speaking websites - all in French
2. 2 hours per month of onsite SEO in French and keyword appropriate use in French or more link building.
3. 2 hours of keyword research – new relevant keywords with traffic levels from Google, etc.
3. Reporting back in progress with links you have obtained and links which you are working on.
We are a successful online baby accessory brand in the UK and have made the investment to grow our business in France. We have developed our eCommerce French eCommerce website on a new .FR domain. Therefore your French language will need to be your first language or your bilingual with English.
We can send content in French as we have French speaking content writers and keywords in French with English translations. Communication will be in English with us as your client.
We have built our business on the back of good, clean SEO practices and we're not looking for quick wins with rankings as we know this is just not possible without employing some shady tactics, which we don't want.
You will know about good SEO practices, up-to-date with Google’s “Penguin” and “Panda” updates and be able to talk to us about these. We will use one of the leading SEO keyword tools to monitor progress.
We favour links from news, guest blogging, PR sites, review and competition pages on high quality sites, instead of lower quality sites like article, directory, bookmarks from social, blogs comments & forums. However if it adds to the conversation and is of value to the site, then a small amount of these links are acceptable. If we are able to gain traffic and thus sales directly from sites and not from an increase in search engine rankings, all the better. We don’t want 100’s of links per month, but quality is better and 10 to 15 really good links per month is acceptable. We will supply content in French, but you will need to check. Also some links from paid posts, etc is also acceptable, but a small number.
In your bid, please state how you will approach this work and the approx. number of links you can fit into the above hours per month, and how long you can expect to see results from a non-competitive market where the keywords are not in the first 5 pages of Google.fr. We prefer a handwritten email response, rather than a fancy template proposal.
The lowest price may not win the bid, we are looking for quality first. This could lead to further work. Please note you will be required to sign an NDA, assuming you're successful in your bid. Website, keywords, etc. will be given to the winning bid only.
