Hi, I run a meditation supplies company and am looking to build links to our directory of meditation teachers in the UK. I need someone to build a spreadsheet of link targets for me.

We have very specific criteria as we are focused on quality and relevance over quantity. All links need to be from UK websites.

Please note: This is *not* to build the links. It is to suggest likely targets. I need 100 to start with, and if they are of good quality we can just keep on going.

Here is the criterial:

Link Research Guidelines

High authority websites only
By “high authority” we mean websites such as government agencies, charities, high traffic news/content websites, NHS sites, educational websites such as university pages etc. Examples:

• NHS mental health resources
• Mental health Charities
• County council websites (with specific pages for meditation / mental health or wellness etc)
• University pages
• Content websites - a very broad category but it’s simply a matter of only finding highly relevant pages where they are already linking to other resources, or the page would genuinely benefit from linking to our directory.
• Other —we won’t really know what else might go here until you start thinking abou tit and doing your research but provided the sites are high authority and high relevance it’s all worth considering.

IMPORTANT: Each target site needs to be reasonably likely to link to us. We will have to discuss this as we go along.

Things to avoid

• Articles - people dont edit articles. its resource pages, “ever green” content pages that might be of interest.
• Blogs - not in general, but the kind of blog that also contains the bloggers cat photos is of no interest. A very professional, highly relevant blog with a lot of comments and traffic would work quite well though.
• Trashy pages of any kind.

Things to include in each entry:

• URL - url to the specific page
• Title - eg Bershire Council Mental Health Page —your descriptive title, not their page title.
• Phone number - a specific department number if at all possible, or the general number if not. If you can phone to get the specific number that woudl be brilliant.
• Contact person - not required but definitely good!
• Notes - anything relevant about the phone number or listing in general

Search terms
Once you hit a good search term it can be applied to every county, for example “mental health berkshire”. Please list each generic search terms in a separate file. You could also apply those terms to larger towns.

PS, I have not included a budget as I need competitive quotes.

Thanks!
